Please join us for the 26th Starfest in 2024! ChesMont Astronomical Society hosts their annual event to educate the community about the wonders of the night sky. Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site has been a wonderful partner in hosting ChesMont's Starfest for many years now.

What happens at ChesMont Starfest? We will have our telescopes pointed at different objects and attendees going between different telescopes to see the wonders of the night sky with their own eyes. See sun spots & solar flares before sunset, then planets, nebulae, galaxies, globular clusters, and more at night. Additionally, we have speakers giving presentations on various astronomy topics.
